Missing repos after install

Add repositories to an existing GitHub App install and refresh access.

Updated: Feb 1, 2026

Confirm installation owner

Check which org or user account you installed ReleaseMind on.

Repos owned by a different org will not appear until you install there.

Update installation settings

Open GitHub Settings, then Installed GitHub Apps, then ReleaseMind.

Change repository access to include the missing repos or switch to all repos.

Refresh in ReleaseMind

Visit Repos and click Resync to refresh cached access.

Open Release Studio to confirm the repo appears in the picker.

SSO still required

If your org uses SSO, approve ReleaseMind after updating access.

Until SSO is approved, repos stay hidden even if selected.

Ask an org admin to confirm approval in the SSO settings.

Review and introspect

Missing repos usually mean access is scoped to the wrong owner.

  • Did you install ReleaseMind on the correct org for the repo?
  • Are you keeping repo access minimal while still covering releases?
  • Who should approve SSO changes on your team?
