1) Information we collect

Account data: name, email, and organization details you provide when you sign up or connect a GitHub account. When you connect GitHub, GitHub may share your account identifier, username, and email so we can provision access.

GitHub data: repository metadata, releases, tags, pull requests, and commit metadata accessed via the GitHub API after you authorize us. We may also access file diffs when needed to generate summaries.

Content you provide: release templates, draft edits, and release notes you create with ReleaseMind.

Usage and device data: basic telemetry (such as page views, feature usage, and error logs) to keep the service reliable.

2) How we use your information

  • Provide the service, generate drafts, and keep releases organized.
  • Operate, secure, and improve ReleaseMind.
  • Respond to support requests and product questions.
  • Process billing and account administration.

3) Generative AI processing

We use a third‑party generative AI provider to help draft release text. We send only the content required to generate a draft. You review and approve outputs before publishing.

4) Sharing and disclosures

We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run the product (hosting, database, analytics, email, payments, and AI). We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect ReleaseMind and its users.

5) Payments

Payments are processed by a payment provider or platform. We do not store full card details.

6) Data retention and deletion

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. If you cancel or revoke access, we will remove customer data within 30 days, except for limited records required for billing, tax, or legal compliance.
