Release notes not updating

Refresh drafts when new merges are not appearing.

Updated: Feb 1, 2026

Confirm the tag

Ensure the release tag points to the latest release commit.

If the tag moved, regenerate the draft.

Check the repo access

If the repo was removed from the installation, ReleaseMind cannot refresh it.

Update app access and resync repos.

Refresh the draft

Click Refresh to rebuild the draft after new merges.

If the draft still does not update, contact support with the repo name and tag.

Review and introspect

Updates land when tags, merges, and drafts stay aligned.

  • Did you merge PRs after the tag was created?
  • Is there a consistent point in your workflow where tags are cut?
  • Do you need a reminder to refresh drafts before publishing?
