Upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations

Manage plan changes in GitHub Marketplace and confirm in ReleaseMind.

Updated: Feb 1, 2026

Change the plan in GitHub

Plan changes are managed inside your Marketplace listing.

ReleaseMind reads the new plan and updates entitlements automatically.

How updates appear in ReleaseMind

After the Marketplace webhook delivers, Plan reflects the new entitlements.

If the plan does not update within 10 minutes, contact support.

Canceling service

Canceled plans remain active until the end of the billing period.

After the period ends, access switches to the free plan or inactive state.

Review and introspect

Plan changes are easiest when billing sources stay consistent.

  • Did you change the plan in Marketplace or in another billing system?
  • Do you need to communicate the change to your release stakeholders?
  • Have you confirmed the entitlements in Plan after the update?
